Our client is a major Telecoms operator with a fantastic brand. This is a highly progressive telecoms company and the most innovative player in the emerging mobile areas.They are now outpacing their competitors across all aspects of communication, principally in mobile and broadband services.

As part of their high profile Marketing strategey, they are lead sponsor for many major Irish sporting events, and they are currently looking for an experienced Head of Sponsorship to manage their significant sponsorship portfolio. The primary responsibility of this role will be to maximise the commercial returns on this activity.

This will be achieved by - Identifying new, commercially attractive, sponsorship opportunities and lead
contract negotiations.By liaising closely with existing sponsorship partners to maintain strong
relationships with key stakeholdersBy working very closely with Sales function to identify sales opportunities
associated with sponsorship activity. This includes brand exposure but,
more specifically, tactical opportunities to drive customer acquisition.In association with Customer Service function, identify opportunities where
sponsorship activity can aid customer retention.By managing all sponsorship events, ensuring branding is appropriately positioned and exposure is maximised. By working with Marketing Communications function to ensure all branding and
associated collateral is in line with brand messaging.My managing and developing a small sponsorship team. To be considered for this role you should have - Significant experience in a lead sponsorship role with major brands
Experience of maximising sponsorship activity to drive sales
Experience in managing sponsorship events to exceptionally high standard
Exposure to working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Flexibility- has the ability to change approach depending on the situation
