Our client is an uber brand, a hugely progressive organisation that has radically changed the way we work and live. 
They are now seeking to engage an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to work within a team which is tasked with building and  managing customer engagements, demand, perceptions, relationships and satisfaction through orchestrated integrated marketing communications efforts that are created in a productive team environment, and with extraordinary partnerships with sales and marketing colleagues and marketing communications agencies

Role Purpose
The SMB Customer Marketing Communications Manager is a marketing Communications role responsible for executing a highly impactful customer focused marketing strategy for Small and Mid Market customers.

 Responsibilities include:
• Execution of the Breadth Plan and ensuring that the alignment in execution across Sales, Services, Partner, Marketing and Licensing
• Execution of the SMB marketing strategy across SMSP and OEM customers, balancing customer centric marketing and product marketing for the right customer mix.
• Execution and optimization of partner marketing programs to drive through partner revenue growth
• Generate / drive / accelerating Revenue, Share vs Competition and New New Pipeline & Engaging Renewals
• Ensure strong partnerships with sales, partner and marketing strategies
• Delivery of Customer Centric Marketing to drive awareness and demand, generate leads and accelerate sales cycles

Key Success Criteria

The SMB Marketing Lead focuses on 3 key areas – Plan, Execute, and Measure. This position is responsible for the following:
Plan:
• Contribute to building and sharing the customer insight for the SMB Customer Segment
• Build detailed plans and calendars, visible to all in our Client’s Marketing Planning tools and in partnership with all other stakeholders and agencies
• Continuously work to optimize the plan through review of results and customer feedback.
• Execute against the Customer Contact and Touch Strategy and the Sector Marketing Plan designed to drive awareness, pipeline, long term growth, market share and improved relationships
• Identifies opportunities and revenue upside through data analysis and customer segment targeting

Execute:
• Inputs to and executes the customer marketing strategy for the SMB market
• Executes against the SMB “Engines” Infrastructure for delivering consistently the right Marketing Messages, to the right audience, at the right time thru the right vehicle.
• Drives partner marketing – both to and through Partner for the SMB market
• Partner proactively with to sales, partner and services and enables sales and partners with the right messages and content

Measure:
• Puts appropriate measurement in place for all marketing programs and activities; responsible for tracking and reporting on marketing impact using our Client’s Marketing tools.
• Provides regular business updates & reports on each campaign and program – through our Client’s Marketing Planning tools – with recommednations on how to optimize and drive increased impact.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• 3-4 + years of related marketing experience
• A Degree in one of the following areas is required; Business Administration, Marketing, Management, ideally supplemented by Information Technology-related studies.
A Masters or MBA would be of advantage
• Demonstrable experience devising and delivering marketing programs to meet the needs of partners and customers. The ideal candidate will have experience targeting SMBs with a technology solution and/or delivering impactful marketing through partners.
• Relevant experience in B2B marketing with proven results
• Passion for driving results and seeing projects through to completion. Evidence of award winning and innovative work.
• Demonstrated deep understanding of the needs of the SMB market
• Demonstrable experience and success in digital / online marketing
• Deep experience in marketing direct to customers and building reach – executing and optimizing relationship marketing programs into SMB and Mid Market customers.
• Excellent agency management skills and experience.
